Based on our own and our customers needs, we have developed an ISAPI extension to allow the execution of PHP application under Microsoft IIS without the performance degradation caused by the usage of FastCGI or lower performance web servers.
Our extension provides:
- PHP error & warnings log in the Windows Event Log (configurable)
- Customizable php.ini location
- php.ini values override
- PHP functions similar to those provided by other SAPIs
- PHP function aliases to provide out of the box compatibility on applications developed for other SAPIs
- Up to 30% performance improvement compared to other Windows alternatives
